Curtis Clark - M.D.
Dr. Clark was born in Brush, Colorado, was raised in Hillrose, went to Brush High School and then completed his pre-med education at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He then went on to the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, graduating in 1974. After finishing his residency in Family Medicine, also at the University of Colorado, he bought a private practice in Sterling from a colleague and started his Family Practice in August of 1977. He is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Until 2010, his practice included obstetrics, delivering 3,000 babies in northeastern Colorado, before tapering off to allow more time away from work for a bit more golfing, gardening, traveling, triathlon training and just doing a few things that were not possible with a busy obstetrical and hospital practice. His office practice remains very active and he intends to keep it that way indefinitely as he finds joy caring for, interacting with and making positive differences in the health his patients and friends, many of whom have been a part of his practice for 38 years (and some of whom he delivered, like Dr. Gerk!).
